Information

Orlando Info - The official web site of the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc.

Parks

SeaWorld - Shamu the killer whale, beluga whales, dolphins, sharks, sea lions, polar bears, penguins, even a walrus! It also has roller-coasters such as Kraken, Orlando's only floorless roller-coaster!

Universal Studios and Universal Islands of Adventure - Universal Studios contains rides based on films, like Men In Black, Jaws, The Terminator, ET, and Shrek.

Universal Islands of Adventure is split up into five themed zones or "islands", Marvel Superhero Island, which has the Spiderman ride, Jurassic Park, which has the famous gates, the Jurassic Park ride, the Jurassic Park Discovery Center and the Dinostore and the other three islands are The Lost Continent, Seuss Landing, and Toon Lagoon. N.B Toon Lagoon is for the kids.

Wet'n'Wild - Wet 'n 'Wild is a theme park entirely devoted to water rides and as such has water-rides that come highly recommended. I personally know a couple of people who really enjoyed Wet'n'Wild when they have been in Orlando.Wet'n'Wild consists of twisty tubes and chutes, all filled with water, some of which lead to a splash-down in a water pool. Wet'n'WIld Orlando is the home of the Der Stuka, which is a ride that I've heard some good things about.

Airports and airlines

Orlando International Airport and Orlando Executive Airport - Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando Executive Airport (ORL)

Orlando Sanford Airport - Orlando Sanford Airport (SFB)

United Airlines - United Airlines, also known simply as United. (USA)

American Airlines - American Airlines (USA)

Virgin Atlantic - VIrgin Atlantic (UK)

British Airways - British Airways or BA as they are also known. (UK)

MyTravel - I know from first-hand experience that MyTravel Airways are a good airline as I travelled with them on my second trip to Orlando.

Coaches and trolleys

Lynx coaches - Central Florida's regional transportation system, a luxurious alternative to the I-Ride.

I-Ride Trolley - The I-Ride Trolley is a handy bus service to help you get around International Drive. Wherever you are on I-Drive you're never far from an I-Ride stop.

The hotel I stayed in

The Enclave Suites at Orlando - This hotel is situated on Carrier Drive, which is just off I-Drive and is a SeaWorld Preferred Hotel. It has two outdoor swimming pools, two Jacuzzis, two "kiddie pools", and an indoor heated pool. The Enclave also features lighted tennis and a fitness centre. All suites have either a balcony or a roof terrace. Complimentary breakfast and newspaper are available but for a few dollars extra you can have a self serve cooked  breakfast   which consists of either French toast or pancakes depepending on what day it is, scrambled egg, beans, sausages, roast potatoes, and a choice of cereal. Drinks are tea, coffee, or my favourite two: hot chocolate or chocolate milk. This cooked breakfast is all you can eat until 11:00 AM. Nearby restaurants include Chillis, TGI Fridays, and the world's largest McDonalds, and there is a Pizza Hut in the hotel lobby. Crazy golf and tattoo parlours are also near the hotel. Wet'n'Wild was visible from our roof terrace.
